After the fabric is sewn and pressed, insert the battens and stitch rings on every other one. Place the rings one quarter of the way in on each side. Finish the bottom and attach to the header board.

Run the cords but do not cut them yet. Install your shade in the window and make sure it works properly. Put it down completely and finish the cords for length. Remember, if the cords are long when it is down, they will pool on the floor when it is up.
