I’ve been thinking about what to do with my garage. I finally cleaned it out. The first thing I did was head down to the home depot and starting asking questions. Luckily I found an associate that was also a former contractor. I know, luck was on my side. He said before I do anything, I needed to insulate the walls. That way, when I figured out which heating option I wanted to use.
The second thing was to figure how I would heat the garage. I could try to extend my central heating and air system to the garage, but that would be expensive. My next option was a portable heater of some sort. Now I had the option of an electric, propane, or natural gas heater. The gas options didn’t really appeal to me, so I went with an affordable electric garage heater.
